Pulp Fiction & Jackie Brown Blu-ray Trailers Promote October Release

Lionsgate has produced two new trailers for the upcoming October 4th Blu-ray releases of Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown.

With new digital remasterings supervised by Quentin Tarantino, plus 1080p video, lossless soundtracks and lots of bonus material. Supplements for Pulp Fiction include “Pulp Fiction: The Facts”; Deleted Scenes; Behind the Scenes Montages; Production Design; Siskel and Ebert “At the Movies” – The Tarantino Generation; Independent Spirit Awards; Cannes Film Festival – Palm d’Or Acceptance Speech; Charlie Rose Show – Interview with Quentin Tarantino; Theatrical Trailers and TV Spots; and Stills Gallery. New items include Retrospective Cast Interviews and Critics Corner: Then and Now.

Pulp Fiction, one of the most acclaimed films of the ’90s was nominated for seven Oscars but only walked away with one (Best Original Screenplay went to Roger Avary and Quentin Tarantino).

Tarantino’s follow-up Jackie Brown was based on Elmore Leonard’s novel Rum Punch and the source material acted as Tarantino’s tribute to blaxploitation films of the 1970s. Pam Grier starred as the title character, a stewardess caught between the police and an arms dealer (played Samuel L. Jackson). Robert Forester earned a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award nomination for playing bail bondsman Max Cherry.
