DC Comics Relaunch: New 52 Blackhawks #1 Artist Ken Lashley On Batman?

News

As many of you know, uber-penciller Ken Lashley is no longer on DC Comics Relaunch’s New 52 Blackhawks after issue #1. It was a scheduling thing based on a last minute change to the book’s writer and to the story by DC that impacted Ken’s ability to continue with the book.

However, worry not dear reader. Ken is a big deal in commercial art circles with ongoing freelance work with Hasbro and Lucasfilm, but he apparantly does have comic book art coming down the pike too… which is great for comic fans!

On facebook on Thursday September 29, 2011, Ken Lashley wrote on facebook:

“…spoke to the Batman office today…hmmmm….l wonder what the future holds…l kinda know…its wicked…”

I’ve included samples of Ken’s past Batman art alongside this news. He is an AMAZING artist. :)

Can’t wait to see what the Bat-editors have planned for Ken Lashley.

Good luck Ken!
