With UFC 136 coming up this weekend, the appropriately titled “Countdown to UFC 136: Edgar vs. Maynard III” debuts this evening at 11 PM ET on Spike TV.
As always, “Countdown” will focus on the training camps of the main event fighters at UFC 136, UFC Lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard as they prepare for their title bout.

“UFC 136: Edgar vs. Maynard III” features UFC Featherweight champion Jose Aldo defending the title against Kenny Florian. Also on the card, Brian Stann faces former number one contender (and Anderson Silva/Blackhouse-hater) Chael Sonnen.
