CM Punk Reacts to End of WWE Raw Supershow and Walkout on Triple H

CM Punk tweeted the following:

“I think a lot of people are missing the point. Fans and coworkers alike. Walking out is a p***y move. There’s a huge difference in what I did. I want change, and I can’t change s*** from my couch. I’m in the fox hole. I’m getting it done. I stayed to fight and I’m fighting for change. You can protest, violently or peacefully without actually showing up. Walking out isn’t a solution at least not one that I’ve ever seen work. Hold ’em up. Make them change. Don’t just walk out, or lay down. Fight. This goes for fans as well. Bored? Don’t like @johncena? Want more @ZackRyder? Show up and be heard. Don’t be a p***y and just tweet about it. Actions speaks louder than words. Except mine. My words are pretty awesome. No think about all that, and hopefully you’ll get it. Too many tweets from me. Misspellings abound. You CAN’T protest without showing up. I am not Gandhi. I will kick your face. Don’t like HHH as COO? Punch him in the face. I did. It’s wrestling, not the NBA. Next high kick to Johnny “Funkhauser” Ace won’t be an accident.”

All of which would be cool for a kayfabe diatribe, but he fails to address where he was. The “entire” locker-room was supposed to be out, and Punk’s match just ended, so we know he was there. In Kayfabe, if he disagrees, where was he? With Punk as the new merch king, a heel turn seems less and less likely, so how do they square this?

And of everyone, shouldn’t Punk, the voice of the voiceless, the man who already had issues with Triple H and concluded there’s a conspiracy, be involved? This seems an awful lot like it should be Punk’s angle, and were the authority figure not a wrestler (or Poochie), it would be. Still, with every other story railroaded by this, and a PPV coming far too soon (2 more Raws then another PPV), I’d expect Punk to either get immediately involved, or leave that for Cena, as he goes after Del Rio. At this point, as much as I hate the angle, Punk’s got the most reason to be involved, especially given Vince’s original firing being because of mishandling Punk.
