Despite recent rumors to the contrary, Bellator has announced the next fight for Bellator Middleweight champion Hector Lombard: Trevor Prangley. Originally, it was thought that Renato “Babalu” Sobral” would be facing the champ, but Lombard will instead be taking a non-title catchweight bout with Prangley.
Lombard (30-2-1-1) hasn’t lost in his last 24 fights and has held the Bellator Middleweight strap since June 2009. Prangley has only one win in his previous five contests.
Bellator 58 takes place November 18th at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL.
