With McMahon’s recent loss in the election for a seat in the US Senate, it seems that she thinks that women are the answer. She is attempting to convey that she can relate to them.
“I think that as they get to know me and again are able to talk to me one-on-one or in small groups, they really do realize that I have shared a lot of their same issues, walked in their shoes. I am a mother, I’ve been a stay-at-home-mom, a working mom, and I know what that feels like when you go out the door and your child is sick or you’re at work and you’re trying to make it to that evening performance.”
As originally reported by the Associated Press, McMahon seems to have suffered substantially due to her connection to WWE. 42% of women polled said that they were less inclined to vote for McMahon because of her involvement.
Not only that, but of the female voters, McMahon lost out to Blumenthal to both women with, and without children. This explains her focus being directed towards the female voters.
Maybe this means we’ll see some real attention paid to the Divas…or does WWE still think we tune in to see what’s in Randy Orton’s trunks?
