Houston Texans vs Baltimore Ravens: NFL Week 6 Thoughts

Houston Texans 14 – Baltimore Ravens 29

Daniels is done with the Texans thanks to their huge injuries : When one of my friends claimed Houston was “done” after their game with the Raiders, I hesitated.  I wasn’t quite ready to make that leap.  However, it looks like the lack of Andre Johnson and Mario Williams, in fact, supports this.  Baltimore is going to walk through this division.  It’s nearly as unbelievable as the Cardinals being in the World Series…… again.

But Rhett Davis sees the Ravens as a team that handled business: The Ravens continue their dominance with this win over the Texans.  This game was incredibly close until the 3rd quarter when Ricky Williams ran a TD in and it all went downhill from there.  The Ravens would kick 5 field goals throughout the game tying a team record.

My Take: With respect to Arian Foster, the Texans are missing their two best players, one on each side of the ball.  The Ravens had better kill any team when that’s true if they’re really Super Bowl contenders.  I was all ready to sell on the Texans, but, well their schedule is fairly easy and their main competition, the Titans, aren’t quite that good.  I think the Titans take the division, but the Texans can make it interesting, but they’ll need more from Foster than 59 yards on the ground.  The Ravens played among their best games of the season, but without Mario Williams pressuring Flacco, well, let’s just say the statuesque QB won’t have it that easy every week.
