Michael Bisping could be a ‘good opportunity’ for Anderson Silva per Ed Soares

Seeming to deflect talk of a Chael Sonnen rematch, Anderson Silva’s manager Ed Soares pointed in a new direction for a potential title fight for the champion: Michael Bisping. This is per ESPN UK through affiliate Sherdog Radio Network’s Rewind show.

I’ll be honest with you: I never even really thought of Bisping too much,” Soares said. “Not that I didn’t respect him as a fighter – I do.

“It was just that it didn’t cross my mind because there’s so many things happening all the time. People talk about Chael and Brian Stann, and sometimes people are focused on the TUF show. But I think Bisping could be a good opportunity. GSP (Georges St-Pierre) could be a good opportunity. There’s a lot of great opportunities.”

Per ESPN:
The Brazilian does not seem keen on a rematch with Chael Sonnen, with Soares revealing the champion “just feels that he doesn’t deserve it yet.”
