It was only a matter of time before the creators of 2 Broke Girls started playing up the apartment setting with giving Max and Caroline a neighbor. Jennifer Coolidge, of American Pie fame and a regular in Christopher Guest’s mockumentaries (see Best in Show and A Mighty Wind, will be a recurring character, playing Sophie, a hard-working woman who moves into Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline’s (Beth Behrs) apartment complex.
