As part of the November sweeps, NCIS: LA will feature a major storyline that forces Hetty to fire Deeks after an assignment goes awry.
“Hetty drags out the dreadful chopping block, sharpens the blade, and she takes off Deeks’ head — figuratively,” said executive producer Shane Brennan in an interview with TVLine. “Yes, Deeks is fired.”
The episode is scheduled to air on November 22.
The ramifications of the firing will be specifically felt by Kensi because of her relationship with Deeks.
