Next to Stone Cold Steve Austin, no other WWE superstar has been spotlighted more than The Rock. Even with four DVD titles to his name already (“The People’s Champ,” “Know Your Role,” “Just Bring It!,” and “The Rock: The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment”) you knew the sports entertainment giant couldn’t resist packaging another Rock release to drop the weeks leading up to his match with John Cena at WrestleMania XXVIII.
According to WWE DVD News, Amazon.com has posted a listing for a new Rock DVD release. The retailer currently lists it with a street date of February 21, 2012.
While there is not a listing for a Blu-ray release, the new Rock title will most likely get the high-def treatment as well.
Until we get more information on the format and match contents, feel free to speculate on the PPV and TV matches you’d like to see included.
Though it’s likely we’ll get a number of repeats with Rock facing off against Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan, WWE could include his matches against Kurt Angle at No Mercy 2000; his Ironman match with HHH from Judgement Day 2000; and defending the WCW Championship at No Mercy 2001 against Chris Jericho.
