Because Emma never lived in the fairytale world, the writers are planning on using Cinderella’s backstory to explain elements of Emma’s.
“I am definitely drawn to the problems that she’s going through, and I definitely put myself on the line in a way that I wouldn’t for most people because I see a lot of myself in her,” said Jennifer Morrison.
The actress also said that we shouldn’t expect anyone from Emma’s “real life” to come looking for her because she is “aggressively a loner.”
She also joked that it might even take until ‘Season 6’ to find out who Henry’s birth father is but that it is definitely being thought about and a long time away.
