At the midway point of the season, it’s time to take a look at who would win awards if they were handed out today. While some of them are easy, other ones are tougher.

MVP — Aaron Rodgers, Packers QB: He Is on pace for the the ALL-TIME pass-rating record and his team is unbeaten.

Offensive Player — Aaron Rodgers, Packers QB: He might break Dan Marino’s single-season yardage record.

Defensive Player — DeMarcus Ware, Cowboys OLB: He has 12 sacks and is on pace to break the record.

Offensive Rookie — Cam Newton, Panthers QB: Undoubtedly one of the biggest surprises of the year.

Coach of Year — Chan Gailey, Bills: Who is this team that is actually competing like its the mid-90’s?
