Last night’s episode of Family Guy stirred the satire and upped the controversy, the likes of which have never been seen before.
In the episode, Brian too a trip back in time with Stewie and in a strange throwback to Back To The Future told his past self about the 9/11 attacks. In an attempt to prevent the attacks, Brian rewrote history which caused a Civil War and an apocalypse. As a result, Stewie took them back in time again to ensure 9/11 did happen and the pair then crossed paths with each other to vote on whether they should or shouldn’t allow the attack to happen. They decide to let it happen and high-five, celebrating the event that killed many Americans.
It’s clear that the envelope has been pushed and that the move was designed to get people talking.
