NAFC Gets “Unleashed” In Milwaukee This Friday

Anthony Pettis’ brother, Sergio “The Phenom” Pettis makes his return to action this Friday at North American Fighting Championship!

(Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA): The next event for top MMA fight promotion North American Fighting Championship (NAFC), entitled “Unleashed,” will take place this Friday, November 18th at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino Expo Center, located at 1721 West Canal Street, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The main event will feature rising star “The Phenom” Sergio Pettis (1-0) as he battles fellow newcomer Tony “The Tiger” Zelinski (2-0). In the co-main event, world class grappling sensation Joao “The Brazilian Samurai” Zeferino (6-4) takes on UFC/Strikeforce veteran Sean Salmon, and also showcasing their skills on the card will be a talent right on the cusp of entering the big show in Rick “Gladiator” Glenn (7-2-1).

Doors will open at 5 PM, with the undercard starting at 6 PM, and the main card starting at 8 PM. Tickets for this amazing event cost $35.00, $60.00, and $100.00 in advance, and $40.00, $70.00 and $110.00 the night of “Unleashed.” Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com or at Potawatomi’s Northern Lights Theater Box Office. Sergio Pettis has certainly earned his nickname. The younger brother of UFC lightweight title contender Anthony “Showtime” Pettis, “The Phenom” recently made his pro MMA debut with a brilliant head-kick KO. A name that fans will definitely want to remember, he’s going to be knocking on the door of some big-time opponents in the very near future.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Joao Zeferino is a 2008 BJJ World Champion. A highly-decorated submission wizard, Zeferino has won five of his last six fights, and will step back into the cage for the first time in two years. His opponent, Sean Salmon (18-17), who is a Milwaukee native, is hoping to make his hometown proud. He’s hit a rough patch in his career recently, but will look to get back on track against his super-talented opponent. Salmon’s stint in the UFC included losses to two top contenders, former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans and middleweight contender Alan Belcher. In his 18 career victories, Salmon has finished his opponents with 6 T/KOs and 7 submissions. He possesses strong wrestling, and is always a threat to finish a fight.

With these captivating bouts headlining Wisconsin’s most talent-filled pro MMA card in history, NAFC’s “Unleashed” is sure to excite local fight fans!
