Vince Young threw a go-ahead 8-yard touchdown pass to Riley Cooper with 2:45 left on the clock and the beleagured Philadelphia Eagles finally turned their ship around in the fourth quarter, achieving a 17-10 victory over the New York Giants.
The Eagles who had previously lost their last five games in the fourth season, had an 80-yard drive in 18 plays before securing the game winning TD.
On third-and-goal, Young found Cooper, who caught his first pass of the season, alone in the end zone for the lead that gave the Eagles (4-6) hope in what has been a dismal season. The Giants fell to 6-4.
