For a moment when I saw the panel I was like “new and different”, and then I remembered Wolverine and the X-Men the TV show, and Ultimate X-Men, and even X-Men Evolution to an extent, and I remembered something. Kitty hasn’t been “meant” for Colossus anywhere but in the mainstream X titles, while everywhere else she’s pretty much been fair game for anyone from Spider-Man to Avalanche.
Why is this relavent?
Because Bobby Drake is tired of not doing things he wants to do, so while using his powers in an outrageous and completely awesome manner he goes ahead and steals a kiss from the Headmistress of the Jean Grey Academy.
