10 Thoughts On WWE Smackdown! 11.25.11 — Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Zack Ryder

Reviews, Shows, Top Story, TV Shows

1. What…a boring verbal show-down between Mark Henry and Big Show. I would say that the Money in the Bank cash-in by Daniel Bryan would have saved it, only it was overturned by Teddy Long, so…there’s that. Overall, not the strongest opener.

2. Hunico is someone I don’t shut up about liking. I think he’s incredible. But this casual, nonchalant style bugs me. Sure, he makes everything look effortless and I dig that. But it’s not as exciting. I know, I know. I’m so demanding.

3. In my opinion, Kaitlin wrestles circles around AJ. Always. So it sucks to see her enter to AJ’s aggravating music. Though, I liked that Kaitlin turned her back and let Beth and Nattie destroy her friend. I just can’t help but worry that that means we’ll see much, much less of that pretty face.

4. I feel as though I was able to really see Zack Ryder in this matchup. It was really a good showing of what he can do, and an excellent promise of what’s to come. And may I just say, Sheamus’s counter for the Zig Zag was god damn majestic.

5. So, who’s going to buy me the Stone Cold Steve Austin DVD this year for Christmas? I promise I’ve been a very good girl…

6. Usually when DiBiase wrestles, it’s a quick, straight to the point showing, so I was surprised to see the match go on as long as it did. I enjoyed it a bit more than I thought I would, too. It didn’t lull and the two looked fairly strong. There’s hope for the rich kid, yet!

7. Remember how ridiculous Cody Rhodes used to sound on the mic? Well, not anymore!

8. Randy and Wade’s little feud is one I really, really like. They feel like such opposites in most aspects, that it’s intriguing when they clash. And it seems like they’re really bringing out the best sides of each other. Barrett stuck out, something that is usually difficult to do next to Orton, and Orton was a little less boring. I’d really like to see more from the two for the long-haul.

9. Well, I have to say, I might be a reformed hater. Triple Threats, Fatal Fourways…usually bore the living hell out of me. They’re so messy! But lately I’ve been enjoying what I’ve been seeing. Tonight’s fourway was an exceptionally organized cluster of some of my favorite members of the Blue Crew. I would have been content with Rhodes winning and facing Henry in the steel cage, seeing as how he’s the only one (in my opinion) that has had some decent matches with Henry in the past. That’s not to discredit Bryan…he’s tremendous. But it’s like a Honda crashing into a house. Maybe I’m more perplexed to see how Henry fares in a steel cage.

10. Who I would have liked to see, but didn’t: I’m going to rewind time a little bit, and go with Layla. I miss that British bitch.
Who I would have liked not to see, but did: AJ Lee.
Emotion I walked away with: Meh.
