Once Upon A Time will finally reveal details about Rumplestiltskin, in the show’s eighth episode this season.
The writer of the episode, Jane Espenson says that the episode will be a shocker, primarily because he might not be all bad.
“Some crucial facts about where Rumpel comes from,” she told E!. “As for whether or not he’s truly evil, that remains to be seen. “He’s a wild card,” she says. “His ulterior motives are still always very complicated.”
As for the deal that he made with Jennifer Morrison’s Emma, don’t expect a payoff on it for awhile according to the writer.
“He’s going to hold onto that for a while,” Espenson said. “He’s going to make sure that’s paid off when he can get the maximum bang.”
