In a recent interview, Once Upon A Time‘s consulting producer, Jane Espenson, revealed that while most of the Storybrooke’s population doesn’t know that they are actually fairytale characters, the town’s mayor knows everything and that she is the Evil Queen who unleashed the curse.
“Regina knows. She has her memory as the Evil Queen,” said Espenson.
Fairytale fans know that in the story, the Queen was also Snow White’s stepmother so it will be interesting to see if writers are planning this twist.
