Daniel Roberts to Battle Charlie Brenneman at UFC on FX 1

Daniel Roberts and Charlie Brenneman have been confirmed for a welterweight encounter in January at UFC on FX 1. The fight was first reported on Robert’s Twitter page:

Roberts is on a two-fight losing skid with losses to Claude Patrick and Rich Attonito. Brenneman, after an upset of Rick Story at UFC Live 4, was defeated in quick fashion by Anthony Johnson at UFC Live 6.

UFC on FX 1 is scheduled for January 20th at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The main event of the evening will feature Jim Miller and Melvin Guillard in a lightweight fight.
