Jason Segel And Emily Blunt Have Problems Getting Hitched In The Five-Year Engagement Trailer

Timed with the release of New Year’s Eve this weekend, Universal Pictures has debuted the first trailer and poster for Nicholas Stoller’s The Five-Year Engagement, opening in theaters on April 27.

Stoller, who co-wrote and directed Forgetting Sarah Marshall, reteams with Jason Segel for this irreverent comedy of impending nuptials. Where most romantic comedies end – with the female falling into the arms of the man of her dreams – Engagement begins with Segel proposing to Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada).

Judd Apatow (writer-director of Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and next December’s This Is Forty) serves as a producer.

The Five-Year Engagement co-stars Alison Brie (TV’s Community), Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill), Chris Pratt, Kevin Hart and David Paymer.
