Jeff Garcia Signs With Houston Texans, Agrees To Be #3 Quarterback

With QB’s dropping like flies, it was just a matter of time before what was old became new again.

The Houston Texans signed Jeff Garcia yesterday, adding him to a roster that includes T.J. Yates and Jake Delhomme.

Garcia last played in 2009 and will be the No. 3 quarterback. Over 11 well-traveled seasons, he has passed for 25,537 yards and 161 touchdowns (with 83 interceptions) with San Francisco, Cleveland, Detroit, Philadelphia (two stints), Tampa Bay and Oakland. (He also played in the CFL and UFL.)
