UFC Names Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” Coaches

UFC President Dana White announced Tuesday that Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva will serve as the first coaches on the Brazilian version of UFC’s “The Ultimate Fighter”. The show will air on Brazil’s Globo network and will premiere on March 25th. There have been rumors of domestic broadcast on FUEL TV, but nothing has been formally announced.

UFC will hold an open tryout in Sao Paulo on Wednesday. Their inaugural season’s plans are rumored to feature featherweight and middleweight fighters.

Also debuting in March will be the 15th American season of “TUF” which will be led by bantamweight adversaries Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber. This season marks the first one on FX as part of the UFC-Fox deal.
