Week 15 NFL Picks

Jacksonville Jaguars+14 vs.  Atlanta  Falcons

Falcons play teams close and Jaguars have some momentum after finally getting rid of Jack Del Rio and winning against their state rival in a blowout. Now they have to go to Atlanta, a place that’s always hard to play, but I still like them to play them close enough because of their ability to run the football and play solid defense. Gabbert must have a good game, something he hasn’t quite done much this year, however.

Dallas Cowboys-7 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Something has to give. Buccaneers are not as bad as they’re playing right now, neither are the Cowboys. As much as I hate taking the Cowboys, I have to take them here.

Washington Redskins+7 vs. New York Giants

Redskins actually won the first game against Giants, but nobody remembers that anymore as both teams went in different directions. Redskins have been playing better and this  rivalry  is usually always close; however, I think Giants have something to prove here and will win by a big margin.

Greenbay Packers-14 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

I hate going against big spreads, but I cannot see how Chiefs can keep this close. A back-door cover might happen, but I don’t think it will be close enough for that to happen. Unless Packers take out their starters, they cover here.

New Orleans Saints-7 vs.  Minnesota  Vikings

Apparently Ponder is starting and I believe that favors the Saints. Although AP is coming back and that favors the Vikings. Still, I think Vikings banged up secondary is going to have a very hard time trying to slow down Drew Brees and the other weapons that make their offense  so  dynamic.

Seattle Seahawks-3.5 vs. Chicago Bears

I think Bears are due for a win. After all, their post-season hopes rely on it. I think it will be close, in fact I think it will be so close that the Bears win but Seahawks cover.

Carolina  Panthers+6.5 vs. Houston Texans

Panthers go toe-to-toe with the best teams in the NFC but fall apart when it matters the most. I see the same thing happening in this game with Texans winning by a TD.

Tennessee  Titans-6.5 vs.  Indianapolis Colts

Colts have showed some promise, not a lot but some, in the recent weeks.  If they’re going to win a game this year, Titans is a team they’d love to beat. That said, I think Colts throw out the kitchen sink this week, and actually pick up the upset.

Cincinnati Bengals-6.5 vs. St Louis Rams

It’s sad how badly the Bengals have fallen that I don’t trust them against the Rams giving 6.5. Well, I do trust them more than taking the Rams in this game, but still that’s sad.

Detroit  Lions-1 vs. Oakland Raiders

I went back and forth on this game. First, I thought the Lions would win, especially because Sah is coming back since he’s a beast in the middle of the d-line. However, I think Lions are flat out bad.  Plus , it’s going to be hard to them to pick up a win in a hard place to play, Oakland. The Raiders need a win and I think they pick one up here against the very overrated Lions.

New England Patriots-6.5 vs. Denver Broncos

This is the game of the week and maybe one of the best games we’re going to see this entire year in terms of what’s on state. Broncos have been a great magical story, one of which that has been very entertaining. But I think this defense is finally facing a  legitimate offense. I believe the England Patriots’ offense can put up points against any defense and make it look easy. They’re that good. So this game falls upon Tim Tebow. If he plays poorly in the first three qts, then he has no chance in this game. He needs to play like the fourth qt all game in order for the Broncos to be in this game. I don’t see that happening. I think this is an easily win for the Patriots.

New York Jets+2.5 vs.  Philadelphia  Eagles

Eagles were suppose to be the next superbowl contenders. Of course that didn’t happen. But now they can be the upset machines. I think Eagles will upset the Jets here. But I still think the Jets will make the playoffs. It seems too obvious the Jets are going to make the playoffs. Due to the last two years, we all know that wouldn’t be Jet’s style.

Cleveland Browns-7 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Cardinals are playing for something and winning. I think this is an easy cover here for them. They’re playing great at home and Browns are terrible.

Baltimore Ravens-3 vs. San Diego Chargers

Repeat after me, east to west coast, east to west coast, east to west coast. Repeat after me, Chargers get hot in the second half, Chargers get hot in the second half. Chargers pull off the upset here.

Pittsburgh Steelers+3 vs.  San  Francisco  49ers

Let’s face, it Big Ben will play in this game. And let’s face it, he plays better hurt. And let’s face it, the 49ers aren’t as good as they thought they were. And let’s face it – it makes perfect sense for the Ravens to win both games against the Steelers and still not win the division.
