WWE Raw Preview: John Cena vs. Hate, plus Anti-Cena T-Shirt Heavily Promoted

News, Top Story, TV Shows

WWE.com’s Raw preview asks the question: Should John Cena embrace the hate?

The article goes on to speculate how much longer Cena could continue with claiming he doesn’t hate anyone in the WWE Universe, and wonders if John should maybe use some of this pent up anger to unleash his frustrations on Kane as he may need “a little something extra” to beat the Big Red Monster.

At the end of the piece, there is also the following tease of a Cena heel turn:

Cena, to his credit, won’t hear it. Even with the exit sign to the high road in ashes, John Cena still doesn’t hate anybody.

Yet.

Of course, WWE Shop is now also heavily promoting the anti-Cena T-Shirt, which is hilarious because anyone who hates Cena is likely old enough and smart enough to not be THAT GUY who buys and wears this:

CB’s Slant: I still don’t think John Cena will ever turn heel, despite all of these teases officially coming out from WWE both on Raw and on their site.

At the end of the day, Cena is just too much of a draw for families who actually go to house shows and buy merchandise, and with WWE still fully embracing the TV-PG era I just can’t see them ever pulling the trigger on a full-fledged Cena heel turn.

So, do you think John Cena will ever turn heel? Would that be good or bad for business? Sound off in the comments section below.
