The Walking Dead Contest – Win a Free Audiobook!

Columns, Features, Media, Top Story

The Walking Dead is an entertainment juggernaut.  The comic is a fan favourite, consistently being one of the top 3 best-selling independent comics each month, and one of the only comics published today whose readership increases month after month.  The trade paperbacks and hardcover collections  are mainstays of best-sellers lists in comic shops and bookstores across the English-speaking world.  The television show based on the comic has set records for cable TV viewership.  And all of this stuff is pretty entertaining.

This past fall, the comic’s creator, Robert Kirkman, along with co-writer Jay Bonansinga, released The Walking Dead: Rise of The Governor, a novel set in the Walking Dead world, and focused on the notorious Governor who gave Rick Grimes and his friends so much trouble during the comic’s ‘prison era’.

Thanks to the generosity of the fine people at MacMillan Audio, we are offering you a copy of the audiobook version of this novel!

All you have to do is write me an e-mail at jfulton@comicsnexus.com to tell me what your favourite thing about The Walking Dead is.  You can talk about the comic or the TV show, but you must be a fan of at least one of them to qualify.  Try to write without spoilers, as I will be collecting your comments in a future posting.

In your e-mails, please include your full name, address, and a phone number.  The winner will be selected at random on January 22nd.

Good luck!
