Anthony “Rumble” Johnson has had a ton of problems trying to make 170 over the years. So many so that it was thought that 185 would be much easier. While his last weight cut was at UFC 104, apparently his first shot at 185 wasn’t as clean as it was expected.
Today Johnson weighed in at 197 instead of the contracted 186 for his fight with Vitor Belfort. Belfort is allowing Johnson to fight tomorrow on two conditions. The first is that Johnson has to weigh 205 or less for their fight tomorrow. He is being fined 20% of his purse to Belfort, as well.
