– This has been a very slow start to a go home show, especially the go home show for the Royal Rumble.
– I do like that CM Punk and John Cena still showed animosity for one another. Their personalities are so different, they shouldn’t be friends just because they are both babyfaces.
– They are trying so hard to turn Johnny Ace into Mr. McMahon and I just don’t think it’s working. It feels forced and while CM Punk is playing his role perfectly, Laurinitis just doesn’t have the equity built up as an on screen character for audiences to truly hate him.
– Am I the only one praying for a Chris Jericho action figure with a real, working light up jacket?
– Haven’t seen the Jeri-Tron 5000 since Shawn Michaels’ face went through it.
– Jericho does NOT have another career as a cameraman. I just got motion sick.
– That one comment is the only thing that has gotten me excited about the Rumble (except of course the fact that it’s THE ROYAL RUMBLE!)
– Woah, Chyna sighting. Didn’t expect that.
– With them saying “every Superstar is eligible to enter” the Rumble, does that mean the current WWE & World Heavyweight champions can enter? And what would happen if they won?
– Very nicely done stage spot. Really didn’t see it coming.
– Smart move staying with the Zack Ryder injury. Too many times, WWE moves on with the show after a major event like nothing happened. Slow down and tell stories and this was a good example of it.
– I think that was one of the few times I’ve seen a Diva pull off actual tears.
– It’s about time someone punked out creepy Josh Mathews. But that “angry face” into the camera was terrible.
– Has Jinder Mahal won a match since Great Khali retired?
– Looks like Miz is getting the long night in Rumble.
– The “dance” contest on Smackdown was funny. These squash matches are getting stale.
– Remember when Truth and Miz were supposed to start a new nWo? Me either.
– Ryder loses the US title after a few weeks and now misses out on the Royal Rumble entirely. I’m sure he’s happy he earned that “push” now.
– You know what, I haven’t heard the word “Twitter” once on Raw tonight!
– Just to be clear, we had our logo before Johnny got his new t-shirt.
– Seeing Punk in this angle makes me wish he was 8 years older so he would have a GOOD authority figure to face.
– Did you see the totally blank look on Laurinitis’ face while up for the GTS? At least LOOK afraid, Johnny!
– Not a very good show in general and a TERRIBLE show for the last Raw before the Rumble. The Royal Rumble MAY sell itself but this effort was just very subpar.
