WWE Superstar Injured at Winnipeg, Canada House Show over the Weekend

News

According to PW Torch:

WWE wrestler Ted DiBiase suffered an apparent hand/arm injury during a match against Intercontinental champion Cody Rhodes at a WWE house show Friday in Winnipeg, Canada. It’s not clear yet the severity of the injury, but DiBiase was scratched from Saturday’s house show in Fargo, N.D. He was replaced by Alex Riley against Rhodes, who cut a heel promo before the match claiming he broke DiBiase’s hand. On Saturday morning, DiBiase hinted at facing an obstacle when he tweeted the Bible verse James 1:2, which reads, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds.”

CB’s Slant: DiBiase was featured as one of WWE.com’s Twelve to Watch in 2012, so hopefully this doesn’t affect WWE’s plans for Ted if in fact they did have something interesting planned for him to re-raise his profile.
