Dana White’s Personal Information Distributed in Anonymous Hack

The outspoken UFC President Dana White challenged hackers to take the UFC site down again. Instead, they went a step further, but here is his challenge first:

“Keep hacking our site,” White said Thursday. “Do it again. Do it tonight… I’m not eBay. My website goes down for two days? Okay, our website goes down for two days. We’ll fix it. You’re not hurting me by taking my website down.”

Instead of merely mounting an attack upon the organization, the hacker group known as UGNazi.com released White’s social security number, address and more information than White himself could possibly remember at any one time.

Scott Sawitz said it the other day about SOPA/PIPA, but now there it can be said for “challenging” Anonymous – it’s like like using a machine gun to do brain surgery.

“The good intention of protecting their content from those who wish to steal it comes with a cost greater than they might even realize.” Sadly, White and company are being pushed into a corner. White and co. have yet to respond appropriately and will continue to suffer while their misguided opinions provoke serious reactions from the elite hacking crew.
