Survivor, who apparently are still a real band, are suing Newt Gingrich for using their song “Eye of the Tiger” without permission. It’s proving to be a rough week for Newt, as he was previously served with an injunction for using Heavy’s “How You Like Me Now?” without permission as well. Generally these don’t go to trial, as politicians will usually stop using the song or settle out of court quickly.
