Disc Announcements, News

Perhaps this one can be filed under why bother.

Independent distributors Legend Films have announced that they will be releasing two cult classics on Blu-ray. First up is Ed Wood’s masterpiece Plan 9 From Outer Space (1959) often hailed as the worst film ever made. Second up is Roger Corman’s The Little Shop of Horrors (1960). Both films are set to hit the streets on March 6th. There have been no announcement as to what (if any) special features will be included.

Plan 9 From Outer Space tells the story of small group of human’s trying to send off an alien invasion and their nefarious “Plan 9” the reanimation of the dead. Featuring Bela Lugosi in his last (and post-humous) roll, Vampire and Tor Johnson, this the king of B Sci-Fi films and a must see by any lover of camp.

Little Shop of Horrors tells the story of Seymour and his man-eating alien plant and the woman Seymour loves. Featuring a very young Jack Nicholson in one of his first film roles.
