Skitch Commentary – I expect Batamn will be a little less trippy this month. Issue 5 seemed like a real polarizing issues. People either loved it or didn’t. I thought it was one of the coolest comics I’ve ever read.
– DC Universe Presents starts a Challengers of the Unknown Arc. Smart to do a much shorter arc this time, I thought the Deadman arc dragged on way too long.
– Nightwing and Catwoman are two books that have fought hard to get my attention, finally forcing me to start buying them on the day they come out. Definitely two terrific titles!

Skitch Commentary – I usually ask Grey to write up some notes on Marvel because I haven’t been reading all that much Marvel lately, but this column was running late so I never got to ask him, so you guys are just stuck with me this week. Sorry about that!
– Fortunately, I actually am buying quite a few Marvel books this week. Ultimate Comics X-Men has been pretty damn intense, and I have been waiting for the payoff on last month’s major reveal anxiously.
– Amazing Spider-Man has been absolutely terrific since Big Time, and this .1 seems like a great jumping on point as we lead in to the major Sinister Six arc “The Ends of the Earth”. This issue should also reveal to Peter (we’ve known since Spider-Island) the Spider-Man “villain” who’s been working in the same lab, so can’t wait to see how that goes!
– I just got back into X-Factor after a long hiatus and Peter David is as great as ever. This really is a book that everyone should read.
– Daredevil has also been excellent, but not sure if it’s getting a digital release this month (last issue did, likely onlybecause it was a crossover issue with Amazing Spider-Man). Maybe on the Marvel only app like they’ve been doing with Scarlet Spider?

– Star Trek/Legion 4’s ending kind of strayed into parody towards the end, but I really hope they can pull it together. I was really enjoying the series until those last few pages of issue 4.
