CB’s Plugs … Featuring the Pulse Wrestling Columnists! (WWE, TNA, ECW, Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, The Rock)

Columns, Top Story

Over the past week, the Pulse Wrestling Commentary section has been filled with absolute gems by my fellow columnists and colleagues. Below is a rundown of every Pulse Wrestling column from last Friday (2/10/12) through to this very minute.

I like to call this one CB’s Plugs … Featuring the Pulse Wrestling Columnists!

Friday 2/10:

Kyle Fitta’s Kyle’s Files: Why It’s Easy to Like Chris Jericho — Kyle Fitta shares his thoughts on Chris Jericho and backs up his words of praise for Y2J with some awesome video clips for those of you who are more visual learners.

Robert Schwabe’s Extreme Archive: ECW Television Episode 006 — Robert has been doing an amazing job filling in the gaps in my own wrestling knowledge by providing amazing recaps of ECW’s beginnings chock filled with historical context and plenty of footnotes. This is a real must-read treat for anyone who likes to take in a longer view of past events in pro wrestling.

Monday 2/13:

Joel Leonard’s No Chance – Let’s Disagree on Some Things (Teddy Long, The Undertaker, CM Punk, Michael Cole) — Joel tries to stir us all up with some very brave statements such as CM Punk isn’t golden on the mic and The Undertaker needs to lose at WrestleMania. His words, not mine!

My own offering this week: CB’s World: Brock Lesnar and Other Alternative Opponents for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 28 — I share this weekly Monday space with Mr. Steven Gepp. It was my turn this week but I urge you to also check out Steven’s THE VIEW FROM DOWN HERE.

Martin Shaw’s The Martyrshow: On John Cena’s Title Reigns, Cody Rhodes’ IC Title Run and WWE Smackdown — Martin Shaw is the man, and this week he decided to cover Cody Rhodes’ Intercontinental Title reign for his first official Pulse Wrestling column. Martin will have plenty to say each and every Monday, and I’m happy to see The Martyrshow added to the lineup.

Tuesday 2/14:

F.D. Swayze’s THE FIST PUMP: Looking at TNA Against All Odds and the Awful Gimmick of WWE Diva Natalya Neidhart — This week, our only everyone’s favorite Pulse Wrestling FISTPUMP SPECIALIST F.D. Swayze dared to discuss Natalya Neidhart’s horrendous SmackDown gimmick. It makes me cringe just thinking about WWE forcing Nattie to add the Stink Face to her moveset.

Jonah Kue’s Kue’s Korner: Peace with the Status Quo/Middle Ground Mark Henry (WWE) — Jonah Kue is back with an amalgamation of thoughts on Raw and SmackDown, paying particular* interest to Mark Henry.

*Use of alliteration just for you, Jonah

Wednesday 2/15:

Ralph Hardin’s The Common Denominator – Are There Anymore Dream Matches? (WWE, John Cena, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair) — Ralph Hardin keeps going strong with another solid offering as he wonders whether or not there are any dream matches left in pro wrestling. In the comments section, a great discussion has ensued as people have been conjuring up their own dream encounters. My favorite dream match drummed up so far comes courtesy of Zork: HBK vs. The Rock.

Chris Sanders’ THE RAGER! – What I Love About Current WWE (CM Punk, John Cena, Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler) — Chris Sanders talks about the positive side of things over at Titan Towers, and also makes note of The Hunger Games. That has nothing to do with wrestling, but it did lead to our discussion of Hunger Games vs. Battle Royale in the comments section.

Thursday 2/16:

Mike Gojira’s The Stomping Ground: WWE Elimination Chamber PPV Analysis (Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Kofi Kingston) — Mike Gojira HATES WWE SMACKDOWN SPOILERS … but he does love talking about the Elimination Chamber PPV, so check out Mike’s analysis.

Friday 2/17:

Blair A. Douglas’ Air Up There: 02.17.2012 – The Real TNA (Jesse Sorensen, Dixie Carter, Daffney) — Blair has been showing us his more serious side lately, and I equate this week’s Air Up There column to one of those ESPN Outside the Lines features. In this episode, Blair looks at Jesse Sorensen’s injury and the darker, shadier side of TNA Impact Wrestling.

James Carter’s My Pinterest Is Piledrivers: Liking WWE Is Not WWEaksauce (CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho) — James is our newest addition to the Pulse Wrestling fold and we are very happy to have him. His new column just debuted today so show James some love both by clicking and by commenting. I say this because James’ debut composition is well worth the read for anyone who likes both wrestling and witty writing.

Well, I hope you enjoyed what I’d like to be a monthly addition to my ramblings on here, and please check out the plethora of Pulse Wrestling columns, recaps/reports and news postings each and every day, right here at Pulse Wrestling.

That’s all from me – CB.
