Get ready to hear even more Who music everywhere you are. Pete Townshend has sold millions of dollars worth of the Who’s back catalog rights to Spirit Music Group, and they plan to market it even more aggressively to movie and TV interests. Currently only 7 songs comprise 96% of the Who’s royalty windfall, but that will increase dramatically in the next few years. I’m sure the producers of CSI are delighted.
