In an interview with BetweenTheRopes.com, Hardcore Legend Mick Foley hinted that his appearance in this year’s WWE Royal Rumble match may be his last one to cap off his Hall of Fame career.
At the same time, Mick did leave the door open for a return if he ever wanted to do one more match, but he also said he should be used “sparingly” if at all in the future:
“I think at the end of those six or seven minutes that I was out there, I participated in some pretty good stuff. For the purists that say you should go out with a classic match, obviously the Rumble is not going to be that classic match but on the other hand, it was a huge audience … The whole back story of my kids wanting to see me in Mania was true and I had a good time. Honestly, moving forward, if I do anything in the ring, that’s probably the way I should do things — sparingly.”
