In a storyline phone interview with WWE.com, Shawn Michaels continues to move the needle regarding his potential involvement in the Triple H – Undertaker Hell In A Cell match at WrestleMania 28. In all likelihood, HBK would serve as the special guest referee for the match since he knows both men so well and has been in Hell In A Cell matches.
In the interview, HBK winds up “angrily hanging up the phone” after being asked if Hunter beating Taker at WrestleMania would make Triple H a better man than him. Michaels accused the “media guy” interviewer of trying to drive a wedge between himself and Hunter before hanging up.
Earlier in the conversation, HBK took a jab at Triple H when he said that Undertaker knew how to appeal to Hunter’s ego and press the right buttons to get Hunter to accept Taker’s match on Raw last week.
