Kid Rock Goes Classical With Detroit Symphony Orchestra

In a pairing that you probably never thought you’d see, Kid Rock will perform a benefit concert on May 12 in Detroit, backed by the cash-poor Detroit Symphony Orchestra.  Tickets will range from $100-$300 and the organizers hope to raise $1 million as a result.  Hopefully someone explained the difference between “classic rock” and “classical music” to Rock beforehand.
