Wade Keller of the PWTorch is reporting that WWE Smackdown star Mark Henry may be considering retirement.
Henry’s contract is coming to an end later this fall & tensions have built up between him and management so much that he may not resign. In December, Henry pulled his groin in a match with John Cena the week prior to the TLC pay-per-view. While Alberto Del Rio suffered a similar injury and given sufficant time off to recover, Vince McMahon had Henry lose the World Heavyweight Title at the pay-per-view and Daniel Bryan cash in Money In The Bank to win it from the Big Show. Henry didn’t receive any time off even after losing the title and has be regulated to “jobber” status for the last few months, adding to the speculation that his time with the company could be coming to an end.
