After Raw went off the air, John Cena grabbed a mic to say that his youngest brother is just recovering from cancer treatment (he has stage four brain cancer but the tumor is shrinking) and because it was such great news and Cena was so happy, he was going to go drink some Jack and eat some Kung Pow Chicken. Cena’s hometown popped huge and it obviously sent the crowd home on a high note.
The health of Cena’s brother has been something that Cena has been dealing with privately in recent months. He’s been juggling spending time with his family on top of his already insane schedule.
Quick Quip: I thought it was interesting that WWE showed Cena’s wife for the first time on TV last night. From what I can recall, it’s never even been mentioned by the WWE that Cena is married; probably to keep up his “sex symbol” status among his teenage fanbase.
