10 Thoughts On… South Park Episode 16-01: Reverse Cowgirl

South Park is back for a HUGE 16th season and we’re back with a whole new set of thoughts!

One of the boys had been told time and time again about leaving the toilet seat up after he goes to the bathroom, but he didnt listen. His actions have consequences and ultimately result in an unimaginable catastrophe.

1. The episode start with the boys playing Clyde’s yard, when his mother calls out to him to come inside. Apparently he left the toilet seat up and she FREAKED OUT.

2. At school the next day, Cartman and Butters are teasing Clyde about the incident, when his mother bursts into class in her robe to confront Clyde again. She says “if i had sat down, i would have gotten toilet water in my vagina!”

3. It happened again – and this type Clyde’s mother is stuck in the toilet with her bottom way in the toilet and her legs and torso almost folded in half. There is a team of cops and EMTs and they determine that since she has flushed, the suction is keeping her in place, and if they let the water pressure go, it will kill her. And it does indeed kill her!

4. At the funeral, there is a debate between men and women as to who is responsible for checking the toilet. “Now little Clyde’s mother is dead, and the blood is on his penis.” Awesome.

5. It becomes mandatory to lower the seat, and to make this happen, the GOVERNMENT has made a new agency the TSA – Toilet Safety Administration. Ah I see where we’re going now.

6. In a town meeting to address the situation, various townspeople suggest how to make the TSA go away. One “logger” gets up and wants the right to take a dump, get up and then pee on the dump to cut it in half.

7. The TSA guard in charge of monitoring all the cameras is a fat older dude who is masturbating to the security footage of people going to the bathroom. It’s a gross and graphic portrayl of masturbation wich a large lotion dispenser that makes a splooge-like sound.

8. Separately, Stan, Kyle, Jimmy and Clyde go to a lawyer to sue someone, and want to sue the inventor of the toilet, who died in the 1600s. The lawyer senses a sucker and suggests a “Sue-ance” to call to the dead and then sue him.

9. Cartman is seen putting a gun and baby near a toilet with a tied up TSA security guard. This causes everyone to go on alert and then various ghosts appear to everyone including the inventor of the toilet and Clyde’s mom.

10. Apparently we’re all using the toilet wrong when we’re sitting down, because like Butter mentioned early in the episode, you sit facing the back so the ledge can hold your books and quill pens.

Overall: A somewhat easy target for South Park’s season premiere, with the TSA/airport commentary. I preferred the episode where Mr. Garrison invented a new type of transportation. The Sue-ance was also a generic commentary on lawyers, which is mildly funny but not really. I didn’t laugh out loud much or at all during this episode.
