Quinton Jackson has been complaining about a lot of things lately. One has been that he hasn’t been getting the sorts of opponents he’s been pushing for, getting wrestlers instead of strikers. Dana White is going to grant him his wish on his way out of the company as Jackson’s last contractually obligated fight in the UFC will be against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua at a yet to be determined date.
Dana White announced this on tonight’s “UFC Tonight” on Fuel TV.
Rua famously defeated Jackson at the Pride 2005 Middleweight Grand Prix in the Opening Round by TKO in the first round. It’s available on YouTube for those who haven’t seen it; you can watch it below.
