Sacred Heart University, the second largest Catholic university in the Northeast, will dedicate the new Linda E. McMahon Student Commons on April 13. This was made possible by a $5 million gift from McMahon. She has also served on the Board of Directors since 2004. Quick Quip: I’m a SHU alumni and Linda McMahon was one of the people I shook hands with when I received my diploma. So yes, she & the whole family have been a big part of the school based in Fairfield, Connecticut. Whether or not I would name a building after them is an entirely different argument.
