Bleeding Cool has verified that the working title of the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle film will be dropping the “Teenage” as well as the “Mutant” aspect, apparently, as the film will be titled Ninja Turtles. While no word has been made whether or not the turtles will still maintain their teenage identities, one thing is for sure. This is a marketing move ala John Carter according to Bleeding Cool’s source:
“It seems to be driven by marketing. Think of John Carter and how Disney wouldn’t allow for a title with either “Princess” or “Mars”
