Weird Al Yankovic is now suing Sony Music for $5 million over unpaid digital royalties. Yankovic alleges that the label has not paid him for YouTube hits, nor for settlements with Napster and other music sharing services. Thanks to a previous lawsuit by Eminem, Al’s allegations are likely to hold up in court on a similar precedent. Or he could just a write a really biting parody of one of their other artists’ music and really show them. Either way.
