In an article in the News-Times, WWE Chief Marketing Officer Michelle Wilson had the following to say about the WWE Network, “There will be a WWE network in some shape or form. We are in late stage negotiations with distributors. Getting a distribution agreement for a cable network is not easy.” Wilson then denied that WWE has delayed the Network launch, even though they did announce an April 1st launch during their initial marketing for the Network.
Aside from these delays, the following shows have been announced in addition to the already heavily promoted WWE Legends House:
WWE Diva Bus Tour – Divas traveling the road and living the WWE life
WrestleMania rewind – self-explanatory with added commentary
WWE Countdown – self-explanatory
Monday Night Wars – something they could air forever with the amount of footage they have
Lastly, WWE is also hoping to produce a new one hour Spanish language television show, which can go in a number of directions.
