By nature of Reed Richards having a time traveling father, an issue showing us the far off future and the Fantastic Four and Future Foundations effect there seemed like a no brainer. Especially with adult Franklin seemingly being immortal, it would let us see his adventures in the future. What I didn’t expect, however, is that a member of the Four survives along with him.
Ben Grimm, The Thing, is not immortal. He’s just really close to it. Not too long ago the children of the Future Foundation created a serum for Ben that would allow him to turn back into his human form for one week every year. What they didn’t discover is that it would be the only time he would age. One week for every year.
Ben Grimm finally dies in the year 6012.
