During the last five minutes of Sunday’s NHL Playoffs broadcast of Game 3 between the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly, the Flyers and Penguins wound up brawling. As a result of the constant fighting, the Flyers aired the below Hulk Hogan video to rally the Flyers’ fans in the live arena, then played Hogan’s classic “Real American” theme song.
NBC broadcaster Mike Emrick acknowledged the Hogan promo and music on the air.
