In the newest WWE Magazine, WWE Diva Kelly Kelly talked about her journey from a “nervous wreck” not knowing what she was doing on TV when she debuted on ECW in 2006 to her current role as a grown-up, Diva veteran. Kelly described her reaction to one particular ECW angle involving The Sandman.
“I remember I took a hit one time from Sandman, and I don’t think a girl has ever taken that kind of shot before in WWE,” Kelly said. “And, holy moly, I saw stars and I wanted to cry. He hit me right on top of the head. Mike Knox even hit his finisher on me. Come to think of it, when I signed up, I had some pretty brutal things done to me. I definitely was fearless back then.”
